Error: 47:01

Help and Support

System Error 47:01, 47:03, 47:10

What does it mean?

The printer has detected a possible fault relating to the Starwheel Motor.

(The starwheel motor moves the starwheel assembly up & down during the paper load procedure.)

Why am I getting this error?

The printer has detected a problem when moving the starwheel motor.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Restart the printer to see if the error goes.

Turn OFF the printer and check for any visible paper jams which might be blocking the movement of the starwheel rail. (The silver bar that runs the width of the printer with small star wheels attached underneath)

I've tried the above but the error still appears. What do I do?

The majority of 47:01 errors reported to us are caused by a broken starwheel motor assembly.

The starwheel motor can only be replaced by a technician as it is not easily accessible by the user.
